Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be 16-18 at the time of the 2026 Oxford Royale course,​

  • Live in the Greater Whitsunday Region – that includes Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac LGAs,​

  • Be currently enrolled in high school, and​

  • Have a passion for learning and serving your community

Giving Back to our Community after your Experience

Applicants are asked during the application process to outline their early ideas for a community initiative they would like to pursue after completing their Oxford Royale course.​

Examples of possible projects include:

  • Hosting a free workshop or seminar at your school on a topic you studied overseas​

  • Creating a peer mentoring program for junior students​

  • Organising a community event to raise awareness about a social or environmental issue​

  • Partnering with a local organisation to provide support or advocacy​

  • Launching a creative or digital campaign to share a message​

  • Creating advertisement material from are local sporting club
